This symbol indicates that our business followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and have a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. We have conducted a detailed risk assessment of the Bed and Breakfast and have appropriate controls in place to minimise the risk of infection from COVID-19.
The following measures have been put into place to help protect both us and our guests.

Hygiene, Face Masks and Social Distancing

We will happily welcome guests whilst they adhere to social distancing. Please respect us and other guests who are present during your stay by keeping your distance within and around the B&B.
Hand sanitation points are in place around the B&B, including the entrance to the property, the dining area and within all guest rooms.
Signage is displayed to encourage regular hand washing, social distancing and use of hand sanitiser. Guests must wear a face mask or covering when entering and moving around the B&B. Please be mindful and respect that in certain circumstances some individuals may be exempt from wearing a face covering during their stay.

We have under taken Infection Control and COVID-19 training to enhance our understanding of how to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Cleaning Measures

We have implemented rubust cleaning measures and have increased the frequency of cleaning in all aras of the B&B. A COVID-19 Risk Assessment has been carried out to highlight areas where extra controls have been put in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

We are using approved cleaning products and methods for killing and reducing the sprerad of COVID-19.

Check in/out / Communications



Contact will be made by email, phone or text to pre-arrange and gather important information about your stay. We kindly ask that you provide us with an ETA where possible to enable us to stagger check in times safely. On arrival you will be greeted whilst maintaining social distancing and shown to your room.
All room keys, information files and pens will be sanitised and left in room prior to your arrival. All further comunications will be encouraged via email, phone or text during your stay. On checking out we ask that guests leave room keys in their door.


Linens and Housekeeping

We adhere to recognised guidelines for thermal disenfection during the laundry process. All linens are washed above 60 degrees.
All our bed linens and towels will be rotated between guest stays. Guests will be encouraged to use same towels during their stay, however, additional towels can be provided on request.
All pillow and duvet covers are fitted with inner protectors and beds are fitted with mattress protectors, all items are laundered after each guest.
There will be no room servicing during stays less than 4 days, however, additional items can be provided on request. Where a guest is staying for a longer duration, rooms will be entered when the room is empty. PPE including gloves, aprons and masks where necessary will be worn when cleaning and servicing rooms.

All soft furnishings such as headboards, will be cleaned using appropriate products and methods. Soft furnishings such as cushion covers and throws will be alternated after each stay and disinfected with spray or steam cleaned where items are unsuitable for machiene washing.
We will continue to provide toiletries for guest use.
We shall continue to provide a refreshments tray with individually wrapped items for our guests to enjoy.
All high touch items and surfaces will be thouroughly sanitised. This includes remote controls, lamps, kettles, lights, door handles, switches, plugs, hairdryers, toilet flushes etc.

We have re-arranged our dining area to ensure tables are distanced according to regulations.
All surfaces and furniture will be sanitised in between guests.
We will be operating a staggered breakfast service to ensure guests can be served in a way that is safe and managable.

Breakfast is limited to table service only.
Appropriate PPE (Face Masks) will be worn when serving guests, this is in-line with government advice.
Guests will be required to sanitse their hands on entry to the dining room and adhere to social distancing. Tableware and dining equipment will be washed in the dishwasher at high temperature then stored in a covered area. 
Disposable breakfast forms will be used for guest food orders.
Our Food Safety Risk Assessment has been reviewed and ammended in line with Food Standards Agency advice for COVID-19.

Travelling Guests

  • If you or anyone in your party is displaying any of the symptoms of Coronavirus PLEASE DO NOT TRAVEL. Contact us as soon as possible to arrange rescheduling of your reservation. If you arrive displaying symptoms you will be refused entry and no refund will be payable.
  • Under Government guidelines, international travellers MUST quarantine for a minimum of 14 days upon entry to the UK including Northern Ireland. Our property is not suitable for quarantine purposes and we may request to see additional evidence that your quarantine period has been completed on arrival. We reserve the right to refuse entry if this information can not be provided.

Suspected COVID Cases and Self Isolation

Please DO NOT visit the property or surrounding areas if you suspect you may have COVID-19.
If you or anyone in your group appears to be displaying symptoms of COVID-19 on arrival you will be turned away.
You should notify us immediately if you suspect that you or a person in your party is developing/experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (high temperature, continuous cough or loss of smell/taste). We will follow the Guidelines laid out by Government in the link below https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-advice-for-accommodation-providers.
